MPAH utilizes Anesthesia for all Dental, and Surgical Procedures. All steps and procedures are discussed and approved with the Client before commencing.

• Before undergoing Anesthesia each Patient is individually evaluated by the Doctor for any potential risk. 
  
• This will include: Physical Exam and History review. 
  
• It may also include Bloodwork; depending on: Patient age, Type of Procedure, and Patient Medical History.
  
• During the Anesthesia each Patient's vitals are monitored constantly by a dedicated Assistant to ensure the Patient's safety and comfort. 
  
• After undergoing Anesthesia each Patient has a devoted Assistant to monitor their recovery and comfort. 
• After the procedure is complete we use various methods to regulate the Patient's body temperature including: Blankets, Towels, as well as an Incubator (for smaller animals)

In line with our AAHA accredited dedication to excellence MPAH utilizes the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
